DNS server on Server2008 R2

i'm having problems dns on windows server 2008r2 domain controller

the dns service starts , stops straight away

it's not microsoft kb3145126, have checked it's not installed.

also it's message in error log.

i have updated drivers old hp 1

uninstalled , reinstalled dns, no joy.

the sister dc (sbs 2008) running fine needs decommissioned.

any thoughts appreciated

server patched, 2 optional patches october 2017 missing (kb4041686 , kb4042076)

besides, suggest use commands clear dns caches , try again.

dnscmd /clearcache

if doesn't work, suggest follow steps below:

bring new windows 2008 r2 server.
installed dns role on it.
extracted dns.exe file working machine.
imported non-working machine.
restarted server.
