i trying connect macs domain-based windows print server. best way this?

they can need "" quote share name.  never setup shared printers sharename spaces.  printer name spaces different issue keep printer name 1 word well.

you may need set lpd service allow passthru of data. 

is there system events stating printer not found?  if that's case the  space in queue may issue.
