Login issue with corrupted recycle bins and permissions problem

hi,

i have issue here isn't responding usual fixes people have been posting.

i set windows server 2008 r2 server , used group policies redirect folders users.

so far, good. logins on machines have been great, except 1 particular machine.

when log backup server (literally, 1 backups), hangs on login (usually @ preparing desktop screen) , when logs in, these errors each of redirected folders:

"the recycle bin on \\<file server>\home\<account name>\searches corrupted. want empty recycle bin drive?"

clicking on yes or no makes no difference.

this same error repeats redirected folders. twice. once before desktop appears, , once after.

then message "windows cannot access \\<file server>\home\<account name>\desktop. not have permission access... etc." (basically, don't have proper permission access own profile folder.)

at point, i'm told windows using temp profile.

from i've found on web, removing individual recycle bins helps folks. did both in windows explorer , via command prompt. no luck.

i used delprof2 delete profile folder on backup server , logged in, no luck. (my profile folder not recreated on login should have been.)

i have taken ownership of profile folder, set permissions full control, no luck.

i set registry key files aren't kept in recycle bin, deleted immediately. set same permissions on each recycle bin individually via gui, no luck.

i should mention account part of local admins group on machines. we're on central domain, have site admin privileges, might expect regular user accounts, not me.

it's odd it's 1 machine have problem on, it's important machine , it's pain not having control on it. other admins here have no problem logging in server.

since lowly site admin, can't ditch account , recreate easily. able delete profiles delprof2, last choice @ point.

any other ideas on how fix this? tips!

hi dave,

kind of issue can related virus infection or hard-drive problem.

might need scan virus , remove/re-add server domain test.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
