Runnig Ubuntu 12.04 in Hyper-V

hi,

i installed ubuntu 12.04 withouth many troubles, don networking, i created virtual swith internet access.

i got following message:

degraded (integration services upgrade required)

actually, canonical (the folks behind ubuntu) date linux ics of of distros.

i built ubuntu , centos vms on server 2012 hyper-v , had 0 issues / gotchas ubuntu (it worked).

for centos 1 workaround needed enter expert mode during installation, , sure attach legacy nic installer detect it, other thing had enable automatic network detection networking stack automatically load @ boot.

i did not need these things ubuntu, except make sure vm had nic.

(the same tricks might apply)

i installing ubuntu server 12.04 x64.

if add nic after installation there number of things need done in linux os enable networking , not.

oh, , if network manager linux gui installed, needs uninstalled.  1 thing ran across.
