Windows 7 and Terminal Services/RDP

i have new windows 7 box rdp version 6.1.7601 client, when tries connect either windows 2008 terminal server or windows 2003 terminal server, makes connection, either freezes or disconnects/reconnects situation. think have narrowed down 6.1.7601 because have other windows 7 boxes working fine have client version of 6.1.7600... wierd. missing something, have spent 3 days on , have no other thoughts... system came installed sp1 cant find way unistall sp1... appreciated...

hi,

based on ping results sounds there sort of network issue between pc , server.  if consistently seeing strange spikes describe suspicious.  best case low possible ping times not vary no loss.  example, better have consistent 80ms ping times have 12ms of time, 250ms, 60ms, 135ms, etc.  if unable connect because of network issue run pings , notice variable results seeing, meaning, on surface pings appear fine part when there major networking problem.

have run pathping client server?

is possible use different internet connection test see if pc can connect through that?  example, plug usb mobile broadband card , use connect server test.

you may want install new network card test see if built-in 1 faulty.  you can purchase gigabit card @ local electronics store low cost.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
