Roaming Profile at User level simply not copying...no error

little rusty on setting if recall if choose setup roaming profiles @ user object level need create share appropriate share/ntfs permissions assign unc path in profile tab in aduc?  we running win 2008 r2 win 7 sp1 clients.

if correct have done , profile not roam...no errors in event log, test user logs in , has normal local profile.  while logged in user can access above unc , create folder think permissions ok.

originally computer , test user in ou set gpo setting folder redirection.  thinking possibly configured incorrectly there moved user , computer object basic ou default domain policy applied.  no change.

i don't remember getting part working such hassle @ loss how troubleshoot further.

since roaming profile doesn’t work correctly, , not find error in event logs. @ time, suggest you’d better first check correct permissions on profile share. in addition logging events in application event log, user profiles can provide detailed log aid troubleshooting. create detailed log file user profiles:

1. start regedit , locate following path: hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windowsnt\currentversion\winlogon

2. create new value called userenvdebuglevel reg_dword, , set value 30002 in hexadecimal format.

the log file can found at: %windir%\debug\usermode\userenv.log

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
