Problems when changing to a new internet domain name under server 2003

a customer of ours decided change .nl domain spiffy new .com domain.

to falls task of implementing changes on 2 servers. 1 server runs exchange , owa, other hosts iis6 website. @ first seemed pretty straightforward request 2 new csr's 2 affected websites (mail.bleep.com , somethingelse.bleep.com).

having generated proper csr correct private key , installing certificate succes, new problem emerged. locally signed certificate started complaining inconsistency in names (the name of site isn't present in locally signed one).

having faced these things leaves me wondering if there clear documentating concerning implementation new internet domain name in iis 6 , exchange 2007 environment.

i'm expecting heavy usage of certutil , exchange management shell...

right i'm worried changing 1 thing lead thing failing.

thanks in advance , insights can give.

i believe problem related not including correct subject alternate names in certificate.
