Server 2012 R2 RDS unable to access APPS
- new installation of 2012 in new domain , rds configured. can log rdweb website when choosing app, first message. if choose remote desktop , try remote workstation, able log in , receive second message.
- when clicking on remoteapp i get, "your computer can't connect remote computer because remote desktop gateway server temporarily unavailable. try reconnecting later or contact net administrator assistance."
when clicking on connect remote pc, connection option page enter computer name (have tried ip address), gives me rd gateway server credentials, fill out , after 20 seconds of initiating remote connection "remote desktop can't find computer "name". might mean "name" not belong specified network. verify computer name , domain trying connect to."
have tried different users including administrator. no change

1. please make sure tcp port 443 , udp port 3391 forwarded rd gateway server public ip address
2. please make sure rd gateway fqdn specified in rds deployment properties -- rd gateway tab has dns record on public internet pointing public ip address. on internal network there should dns record fqdn points private ip address of rd gateway.
3. in iis manager on rdweb server, navigate , select sites\ default web site\ rdweb\ pages in left pane. in middle pane, double-click application settings , then set defaulttsgateway public fqdn of rd gateway (same deployment properties -- rd gateway tab).
