Wserver 2008 Printing problem
kinda hard describe issue.
have offices both database , print server, people 3 different cities access both services.
network has been years, have been @ company couple of months. so, did not activated printers, couple.
print server intel xeon x3430 windows server 2008 standard service pack 2, 64 bits.
problem spooler crashes , no one/several users cant print until service rebooted (on configuration set autorestart if fails, doesnt it).
once restarted, clients can print, except few, have common history of being unable print regularly since forever. (3 samsungs ml-2160)
1 of users informing me when printing (around 1 page every 4-5 minutes, dont mean printer slow, thats normal rate of sending documents print) terminal service gets stuck time after 20 or minutes of use, ts freeze around 1 minute 10 or so, varies.. after that, ts back, printer wont appear online, appears offline ghost printer. unplug-plug wont thing.
installed printer personally, native os client wxp 32 bits. downloaded appropriate driver samsung's website, activated printer on server, added 64 bits compatible driver x32 driver .
noticed internet connection deactivating reason, when activate service again, troubleshooter cannot find reason why failed in first place. cause problem above.
now, moving event viewer, have many instances of different errors.
error 56.- "the terminal server security layer detected error in protocol stream , has disconnected client."
error 1000 .- "faulting application spoolsv.exe, version 6.0.6002.18294, time stamp 0x4c6aa29a, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18881, time stamp 0x51da3d16, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x00000000000acb17, process id 0x1cdc, application start time 0x01cf47937f66249c."
error 1107- "the printer epson fx-2180 (redirected 6) not deleted." have many errors these, different printers, cannon, hp, lexmark etc. printers not connected anymore.
, 7031: common "the print spooler service terminated unexpectedly. has done 32 time(s). following corrective action taken in 60000 milliseconds: restart service."
when server disconnects internet, there no warning nor message on event viewer, if press x icon on networking menu, troubleshooter repair connection, acts if nothing happened, if connection since beginning.
checked "faulty hardware" side, both network cards 100% latest drivers, switched cable known work, changed switch ports etc. config issue, dcs after 1 of errors mentioned in event viewer.
thought driver issue (i still think that), tried remove every single 1 of them make sure reinstall proper ones, 1 one, slammed wall, admin privileges, cannot remove drivers, says access denied. if dc server net , reboot/restart spooler, access denied every single time.
if remove/add printer on client, works intended, again, 2o minutes of use, , redirected printer becomes ghost.
need 2 printers working. thanks

firstly ensure have latest available updates rollup installed server 2008 r2. can download , install below link.

in addition please check have latest available driver installed printer. in respect error 56 can configure tcp chimney offload, disable rss window & netdma, please check this article details.
