WSUS Synchornization VS Approve ?

hi all,

i getting confused using wsus between the term "synchronization" and "approve" ... hopefully some gurus here can straightened me out...

q1) under production and classification,  if have chosen products , under product(s), classification -  still able see updates belonging other classification under product ?

e.g. if i choose  product -> sql server 2014 ,  classification -> critical updates,  security updates, service pack, still see updates for  other classification ? ".e.g. updates " ?

reason asking above because seeing cumulative updates belonging the  "update"  classification though wasn't chosen.  (seeing under "all updates" )

=====================================

q2) "synchronization"  referring downloading patches from window updates wsus ?  if have chosen option "download update server only when approve"

am still synchronizing (downloading) or not?

=====================================

q3) last question, there chance/option allow wsus to be  "installing" patches under "approve" computers connected ?  (i not want happen ~!)

waiting kind advices ~!

regards,
noob

q1)  cumulative updates, definition, have critical , security updates, makes sense show.

q2)  under wsus, synchronization refers synchronizing wsus windows update.  download update server when approved setting on client computer.

q3) wsus not install patches. handled each client computer according settings have on client computer. approval on wsus means approved update available clients download.
