Help : Network Infrastructure in a Retail organization (Set-up)

dear all, 

ok . more of broad question  - please need possible idea on how solve problem. haven’t done before more of high level.

the situation

ok theres 1 established site company a., (a retail company) in new york,  have ad, exchange ,vpn , set up. have planned set company b in texas. new site have own domain name want share resources company a. ok these 2 different locations.

the question

now question , in terms of networking – how able link these 2 sites since in different locations(of course can’t run fiber op cable new york texas)

secondly relationship in terms of domain link? trust?

suggest use site-to-site vpn connections, such dial-up line uses short-distance wan links local internet service provider (isp) instead of expensive long-distance wan links. may reference link below detailed information about:

question 2: relationship in terms of domain link? trust?
if these 2 sites belongs different domains, there need create trusts between 2 domains share resources.
