Topology for Active Directory

hello,

my company has factory , main office in different town. example : our factory in town , our main office in town b.

in each site there many users. want create active directory 2 sites.there requirement :

1. user can access file server while moving other site. user can still access file server whether in factory or main office.

2. each site has file server.

3. if 1 server down / off, backup server can replace off server.

what topology active directory use? how many server need ?

thanks,

leo

you can have single forest/domain followed atleast 2 domain controller in each site. each dc should configured dns , gc. can go hub , spoke topology. or need ensure connectivity between both sites. ad distributed database, if 1 dc in site fails other dc provide redundancy. thats why recommended have 2 dc configured dns , gc each @ site , connectivity, those dc's in other site have same ad data too.
