What eddition do I need?


i have office of 8-10 users , computers running xp sp3. right have win 2000 server needs replaced. use active directory, pdc (no bdc, can win2k 2008?) , exchange. drop exchange (we use check external pop3 server , email backup) need users emails backed up, portable home directories.

the question edition need? our external person told small business after looking i'm vary confused meet our needs without being much.

there no way inplace upgrade windows server 2008, have install additional machine existing domain. can windows server foundation version.

if sure 15 user limit not exceeded foundation version ok. did check information in:

to demote existing windows 2000 server dc exchange must uninstalled before, otherwise demotion not supported.
