2008r2 vm with multiple snap shots

hi,

i have multiple vm's , looking @ migrating them hyper v 2012r2.  the issue of servers have multiple snap shots.

from reading , test did mysel have come conclusion cant take snap shots when migrating 2012r2?  i tried export/import.

the following saved state errors reported.  virtual machine saved state file version incompatible.

i have option delete , save.

is there way past using 4rd party tool or wont work due different systems.

sorry   for my mistake ,it is not support "import (without export)"  vms on server2008 hyper-v server2012 r2 .

if want import vms on server2008 hyper-v to server2012r2 hyper-v , sever2012 is the  " bridge " , details please refer following links :

and test 2008r2 vm several snapshots " import (without export)" to  server2012r2 hyper-v , i'll update later .

 update : got test result , 2008r2 vm can imported (without export) into 2012r2  ,if there snapshots of vm then import wizard will indicate they merged.

so , i can not import 2008r2 server2012r2 snapshots .
