How do I get under the 2 GB CAB file limitation that printbrm.exe has to export and migrate printer servers?

printbrm.exe seems pretty useless if have large number of printers , driver spool folder on 2 gb. fail create backup if %systemroot%\system32\spool folder larger 2 gb right?

can confirm if list installed printers on print cluster (2 nodes) , compare against installed drivers (print manager), delete unused drivers reduce cab file size? looks doable , i'm going put in after hours ccr , take snapshots of clustered vm servers prior deletion if there problem, can restore prior configuration. i'm pretty sure reason export fails me size of cab file on 2gb limit. there's nothing can find gives clear method of getting around limitation.

although manual operation remove printer drivers in article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc732946.aspx it's nice if try remove driver in use printer in cluster, won't let you. so, it's pretty easy reduce size of the %systemroot%\system32\spool below limit , successful in creating exportprinters file. i'm not sure found indicated though hope helps someone.

so, if have 2 node clustered print server, go failover cluster manager/services , applications/ right click name of print server/manage printers , find drivers area. remember r-click remove driver package , you'll find ones can or can't delete. brought spool folder below 2gb me , able create backup.
