Failed to create a shadow copy of volume, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

hi,

when try enable "shadow copies" on each volume via shadow copy window fails error:

"failed create shadow copy of volume c:\.

error 0x80042306: shadow copy provider had error. check system , application event logs more information."

i've tried multiple solutions, including:

1) created hkey_local_machine\system\controlset001\services\volsnap\mindiffareafilesize value of 960

2) tried this http://ccolonbackslash.com/2012/05/31/server-2008-r2-vss-volsnap-error-the-shadow-copies-of-volume-c-were-aborted-because-of-a-failed-free-space-computation/

3) tried updating vssvc: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2877115

4) checked vss providers - stable , without errors 

5) checkdisk says disks fine

6) re-registering dlls doesn't help

7) drives ntfs.

else can try? need vss work able backup stuff azure.

please check if using default ms provider. try key below:

1.click start, click run, type regedit , , click ok.
2.locate following registry subkey, , right-click it:

hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\backuprestore

3.point new, , click dword value.
4.type usemicrosoftprovider name new dword value, , press enter.
5.double-click usemicrosoftprovider. enable new feature, type 1 in value box. disable new feature, type 0 in value box.

then please test if same issue still exists. if so, please provide result of vssadmin list providers.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
