WSUS Sp2 64bit error during the installation on windows server 2003 sp2

hi all,

i had installed wsus 64bit on windows server 2003, , working fine

one of colleague installed kaspersky administration kit it's using microsoft sql server, can not  open wsus , there error message decide re-install again

first, removed wsus , kept database during installation had error said:

there problems windows installer package. program run part of setup did not finish expected, contact support personnel or package vender

immediately decide remove , begin scratch followed site uninstalled manually.

i have been removed of wsus

when tried re-installed again there error logs check please:

so, problem?

what should re-install again wsus?

we managed install wsus through following steps:

1. cleanup internal database (win2k3 64 bits)

msiexec /x {bdd79957-5801-4a2d-b09e-852e7fa64d01} callerid=ocsetup.exe

2. install wsus.

during "configure database" step, got following error:

type initializer 'system.data.sqlclient.sqlconnection' threw exception.
   @ system.data.sqlclient.sqlconnection..ctor(string connectionstring)
   @ microsoft.updateservices.setup.executesql.executesql.connect()
   @ microsoft.updateservices.setup.executesql.executesql.main(string[] args)
  
3. test access microsoft##ssee sql server management studio express

connection string: \\.\pipe\mssql$microsoft##ssee\sql\query

got following error message:

unrecognized configuration section system.servicemodel. (c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727\config\machine.config line 134) (system.configuration)

4. update machine.config in .net

overwrite (after backup) "machine.config" content of "machine.config.default" in
 
c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727\config
, in
c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework64\v2.0.50727\config

5. cleanup internal db , re-install wsus

success

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
