Windows 2003 R2 (32bit) to Windows 2008 R2 (64bit) AD Upgrade

hi all,
have simple setup , want upgrade 2003r2 2008r2:
current:
windows 2003 r2 native. 32bit. single forest/domain
schema on dc1 (gc also)
rest fsmo on dc2 (not gc)

proposed:
new dc's @ each site running windows 2008r2 (64bit)

plan:

adprep32 /forestprep schema master (dc1 , gc)
adprep32 /domainprep infrastructure master (dc2 , not gc) - or run on scheam master , allow contents replicate dc2?
adprep32 /domainprep /grep schema master (dc1 , gc)
adprep32 /rodcprep schema master (dc1 , gc)

-ensure successfull replication dc's-

build windows 2008 r2 64bit member server , dcpromo , transfer schema master , domain naming role it? - or ok move fsmo roles @ point?
build new windows 2008 r2 64bit servers @ each site, replacing 2003 r2 dc's
once completd demotion of 2003 dc's - raise domain functional forest functional.
done

problems?
roll includes isolating scheam master , building new 2003 r2 32bit server (dcnew) , seizing role, or seize role using existing dc3

input appreciated

many thanks

adprep32 /domainprep /gprep should run infrastructure master. might want same /rodcprep (although not requirement).

considering have single domain forest, make dcs gcs (including infrastructure master).

transfer pdc emulator role new windows server 2008 r2 dc (you might want co-locate rid master).

take full backup of dcs before proceed. verify each stage has completed on dcs in scope before proceed next...
