Computers have requested the following nonexistent groups... but they DO exist

hi all

i'm running wsus 3.2 sp2 on server 2008 r2 box out in netherlands (nl).  the wsus replica of master server has groups, updates, etc replicated our hq's server in uk.

the problem i've got nl server keeps displaying message "computers have requested following nonexistent computer groups: overseas-desktops,waadenburg-d,overseas-portables,waardenburg-p" in to-do section.

the issue though groups there , exist.  in fact they've been replicated master server, i'm looking @ them in left hand pane of wsus console on server.

any ideas please?

hi,

is there computer being assigned unassigned group? normally, if computer has requested none-existed group, redirected unassigned group.

if find clients in unassigned group, please run command below check detailed information client-side targeting:

  • gpupdate /force
  • gpresult /h c:\report.html

note: procedure needs privilege of administrator.

best regards.
