Netlogon and SysLogon not being created after Migrating 2003 to 2008 R2 server.

i started on first live migration of server appeared going successfully.  after performing dcpromo , waiting checked "dcdiag" , found errors on advertisting , netlogon tests, other test passed successfully.  believed dns issue @ first dns pointing old server , new server.  first tried change dns new server , add forwarder old server, realized incorrect removed forwarder , send dns directly old server.  preformed ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /registerdns, , dcdiag /fix.  after waiting 15 minutes log same issues finding before.  have attached copy of dcdiag log below new server.  suggestions great!  also, before started did dcdiag , netdiag on old server , both passed successfully.

please make sure there no firewall blocking 1 of following ports: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727063.aspx

also, make sure that:

  • each dc / dns server points private primary dns server , other internal dns servers secondary ones
  • each dc without dns points correct internal dns servers dns servers
  • each public dns server set forwarder

once done, run ipconfig /registerdns and restart netlogon service on each dc.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
