iSCSI connections for guests: how to set up?

a couple of questions:

1. if wanted set iscsi connections guests such sql servers, best way handle this? for example, if had 4 10-gb nics , wanted use few of them possible, common turn 2 of nics virtual switches accessible os, use these connect both host , sql guests? or best option use 2 10-gb nics hyper-v host's iscsi connections only, , use other 2 10-gb nics virtual switches dedicated sql server iscsi connections?

2. know mpio should used storage connections instead of teaming; if 2 nics teamed virtual switch, however, change anything? example, if virtual switch created nic team of 2 10-gb nics, acceptable create iscsi connection on network adapter created on virtual switch?

" if wanted set iscsi connections guests such sql servers, best way handle this?"

don't.   use vhdx files instead.  common reason using iscsi sql allow shared storage in sql cluster.  2012 r2 introduces capability use shared vhdx files.  easier set , give good, or better performance, iscsi.

but, if insist on setting up, set same on host.  2 nics on different subnets configured mpio. (unless using dell's software forces non-standard configuration of both nics on same subnet).  teamed nics not supported.  purely best practice configuration, yes, makes sense have separate nics host , guest, not absolute requirement.
