hi,

according description, understand have windows ce device connect pc (running windows 7) via usb line, want start remote desktop session connect windows server 2008 sp1. cannot redirection windows ce device in local resources> more..

by default, terminal services allows redirection of supported plug , play devices. users can use more option on local resources tab of remote desktop connection choose supported plug , play devices redirect remote computer.

rdp has numerous high-level redirections allow specific types of devices used in remote session, such as:

  • easy print, allows users print local printers in remote sessions
  • drive redirection, allows users access file system on local drive in remote session, including usb drives
  • smart card redirection, allows users authenticate , in remote session using smart cards/e-tokens
  • plug-and-play device redirection, allows users access ptp digital cameras, mtp music players, , pos .net devices in remote session, among others
  • input redirection, allows use of keyboards/mice in remote sessions
  • audio redirection, allows recording , playback of audio in remote sessions
  • port redirection, allows use of serial , parallel ports in remote sessions

however, there many devices not covered these redirections, such scanners, multifunction printers, webcams, , more.
