SQL Server SP3 was not correctly installed

hi,


i running windows server 2003 x64 , ms sql server 2005 enterpreis edition x64.
there several local disks on server of sql: С:\ , x:\ ...
the sql server installed on c:\program files\microsoft sql server\

the sp3 installed on sql server using wsus.
recently have found out there folder on disk x:\ (x:\596166c4744e026ff11d) lot of files , folders "hotfixsql", "hotfixdts" etc.
i have tried remove folder got error message:
cannot delete sqlrun_tools: access denied. make sure disk not full or write-protected , file not in use.
in file x:\596166c4744e026ff11d\1033\eula.txt have found following info:
microsoft sql server 2005 service pack 3

so these hotfixes have sql server.

i have move disc x:\ can not because of these strange files...

but why these files not on disk c:\?
and why necessary sql server?

evgeniya, folder left on sql service pack 3 installation. it's owned system account, explain inability remove standard admin account.

the files on drive x:\ because it's practice of windows installer unpack installation packages on the logical volume free space.
drive x:\, not drive c:\.

have tried taking ownership of folder? if you're able take ownership of root folder , subfolders/files, should able delete it.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
