DNS second source
so, i'm aware best practices dictate separate internal domain (xyz.local) , external domain (xyz.com). however, 1 of our new clients has sbs server internal domain identical external domain (xyz.com). has started create problems they've begun add sites/services on external domain, on outside hosting servers - because external sites/service dns records hosted @ external hosting provider, client computers on internal domain unable resolve these sites/services until records have been manually added internal sbs dns server configuration.
is there way tell server 2008 dns elsewhere dns record can't find on internal domain? of course, quite on other domains, not internal one.
