sidebyside errors typically caused current microsoft visual c++ version not being backward compatible application failed. event id 33 error message typically: activation context generation failed “program name”..please use sxstrace.exe detailed diagnosis. there other similar sidebyside errors same problem of backward compatibility. if software works ok don't have fix if not or want rid of error here 2 fixes:

1) reinstall or repair (preferred if option) application. installation package have version of microsoft visual c++ uses , install it.

2) try figure out microsoft visual c++ redistributable package version (available versions are: 2003, 2005, 2008, & 2010) application needs (most 1 came out prior date application software created; check dates of files in package). . these available through microsoft's downloads.

worse comes worse can try installing previous version see if works, if not try 1 before that. though don't it, can have multiple versions of microsoft on computer , people because various install programs install 1 like.
