LDAP Authentication after password change

hello,

i'm facing issue , i'd different authentication methods used active directory.

let's have active directory domain multiple sites. user on site changes password using ctrl - alt - del. after logs on new password on computer belongs to the same site opens web application using ldap authentication against domain controllers on main site (other site). authentication fails bad password event logged.

what may be the case here?

regards,

christos

hi,

examining ldap interface events in windows directory service event log can determine if bad password or bad username cause of authentication failure.

to enable ldap debugging logs on domain controller, set the ldap interface events verbose using dword value 5 in windows registry. once ldap events have been enabled, open windows event viewer , navigate applications , services logs > directory service , analysis related logs.

best regards,
