RDS Printing for remote users not on the domain.

have issue printing on single 2008 r2 rds session host.

a handful of users in remote office connect head office via site site vpn use remote apps / full screen desktop on session host. when attempt print (easy print redirection) job appears spool , print correctly, nothing comes out of printer in remote office.

have enabled print service auditing , can see following in logs:

spooling job 4.

printing job 4.

the print job 4 sent through print processor ms_xps_proc on printer printer on printserver (redirected 3), driver remote desktop easy print, in isolation mode 0 (0 - loaded in spooler, 1 - loaded in shared sandbox, 2 - loaded in isolated sandbox). win32 error code returned print processor: 0x0

have read number of forum posts around similar printing issues being down permission issues on c:\windows\system32\spool folder, none of users in head office have issue (albeit different model  printer) , when comparing permissions on folder new build 2008 r2 box identical default permissions.  

the key difference remote office users on own ad domain (with no trust) , authenticate rds user accounts in head office’s ad domain – create issues rds easy print ? .... when job spooled on session host redirected clients pc, fact printer on print server in ad domain rather locally attached printer or print server on same domain matter?, or should process still seamless?

have asked admin in remote office enable print auditing on print server see logged on site.

hi,

if there authentication issue between untrusted domian, suggest try disable rds easy printer,and try conventional printer redirection.you can disabled "use easy print driver first" setting in rds server local group policy , using printer redirection test whether same issue still exists.please check printer driver, update latest version in client pc , windows 2008 r2.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
