How to remove deployed servers at clients after rename

i've set print management several printers, , deployed printers using gpo clients (mostly xp , 7).

all works well, reason, had change naming convention of deployed printers.

i opened print management, , renamed printer. afterwards, removed old printer names gpo , deployed new ones.

again, works well. but, old printers still listed on client, , can't seem find automatic , clean way remove them.

where did go wrong? or if that's not case, how resolve this?
