UnattendJoin fails but works afterwards without further configuration

hello everybody,

im suffering problem not solve yet.

in short, unattendjoin autounattend.xml in wds fails due error 0x54b (1355, no_such_domain), works fine when join domain manually directly after deployment without further configuration or limitations.

well, have build windows infrastructure inside of unix environment. don't have access configure main dns or dhcp. have configure dns manually before domain join , wds operates in standalone mode. dns client component in unattend.xml. in setupact log file can see dns configuration applied before setup trying domain join. after several retries setup stops domain join gdwerror = 0x54b.

i deal if join not work afterwards without problems -.- can't take anymore. suggestions?

clients os: windows 7 ent. x64
ad: windows server 2008r2 (dns role installed)
wds on server 2012 prestaged clients operating in standalone mode

you see same in netsetup.log well.

for wds, have configured dhcp server respond pxe. same server dhcp server needs provide dns domain domain controller srv records , records can queried.

if not possible, can use microsoft deployment toolkit (mdt 2012) , automate deployment use specific set of dns servers. therefore ip address dhcp - dns mdt settings.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
