How do I change the URL to the Remote Web Access server in Windows Server 2012?

hallo!

i have set remote dexktop service using "quick" deployment method in server manager , working greate internally, cannot start app published in remote web access outside our network.

the problem wants start the using internal url, example, server.domain.local, instead of external one, example remote.server.com.

i therefore want know how can change default url remote web access server , remote web apps in windows server 2012?

i have allready looked in server manager , can change of deployment settings in server manager, there no way alter url of remote web access server. see below images:

pressing internal url results in opening internal url.

this simple in windows server 2008 r2 using tsconfig tool, not seam way of solving in server manager.

a possible sollution alter registry someware in hklm->software->microsoft->windows nt->terminal services. can easaly lead problems due wrong format, etc. , not supported.

is there simpler , supported way?

1. please configure rd gateway fqdn in deployment settings set external address server, example, remote.yourdomain.com.

2. please forward tcp port 443 , udp port 3391 server's internal ip address.  port 3389 should blocked external.

3. please purchase ucc/san certificate trusted public authority such godaddy, geotrust, comodo, symantec, etc. @ least 2 names on it: remote.yourdomain.com and rdcb.yourdomain.local  since using rds purposes and you have single server, essential have both public name (remote.yourdomain.com) use rdg/rdweb , internal name of rd connection broker server (rdcb.yourdomain.local) shown in server manager.

4. once have certificate installed on server, please export (and private key) .pfx file, , set certificate used all rds purposes in deployment properties.

5. create public dns record remote.yourdomain.com points public ip address.  when external users connect browse https://remote.yourdomain.com/rdweb

6. please update windows 7 pcs connecting rdsh server remote desktop client 8 (6.2.9200) , xp pcs connect please update them rd client 7 (6.1.7600).  windows 7 sp1 pcs please install dtls update before installing rdp 8 update:

7. after completing above please test connecting external pc using rd web access.  test using private option selected public option.

once configured users connect rdweb (remote.yourdomain.com) on tcp port 443, next when launch remoteapp connect rdg (remote.yourdomain.com) on tcp port 443 , udp port 3391, , rdg make connection rdcb/rdsh (rdcb.yourdomain.local) on tcp 3389 , udp 3389.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Change home folder default permission?

i have searched on , can't seem find similar trying do. using windows server 2003 active directory. when create new user account on domain, use profile tab specify home directory user. when user logs in first time, active directory creates folder in specified path. working correctly. problem gives user full control on folder. has caused lot of problems because "clever" users have discovered thay can change permission on folder or subfolders beneath it. because don't want staff looking @ "sensitive" files. of course doesn't work since can take ownership of file , give myself permissions. causes trouble failed backups, inability scan these folders viruses, migration new storage etc. on occasion 1 of these users call me , ask file or folder restored, , @ point discover not have backup of files , cannot restore them. give them lecture, have on 2500 users, , can't talk them all. right have create account , login teh folder created, go take away full contr...
