Advice on how to reduce the number of print queues or simply print management?

hi have customer that are looking advice on how reduce number of print queues or print management.they have around 300 employees with around 30 branch offices. there around 40 network printers configured 200 print queues.

every printer configured every option printer has, configured print queue. example konica minolta bizhub c220 has option have 3 trays , can print in both color , noncolor, equals 6 print queues. print queues named according to:
officename-printermodel-color/noncolor-tray, example: nyc-kmc220-co-tray1.

results in lot of print queues lot more user friendly user needs choose right printer right options instead of going properties of printer it. time consuming staff configure every time there new printer.
if has advice please help.

train users configure themselves??

it seems have made 'easy' staff , making change requires them more select printer not acceptable.

the solution in place sounds like an administrative nightmare, try 80 print queues colour , bw thats still overhead.

we have policies in place here duplexed save paper, , have printer bw , printer colour, if needs a3 users send printer colour , a3, if want in black , white have go in , select it.

doesn't situation know dont think will...
