Windows Server 2008 R2 - Redundant Profiles w/mapped drives on Multiple DCs

hi,

i running wall trying research problem having while trying build dc environment in server 2008 r2.

i using 3 dcs, dc_noc, dc_locationa, , dc_locationb in front of 12tb san, profiles mapping drives san each dc iscsi initiator. each dc servicing it's own area.

my problem/question is: if dc_locationa goes down, how able have profiles on dc w/mapped drives specific dc remain accessible while dc_locationa still down without having go in 1 one , re-map drives hand?

thank you!

hello,

using dc kind of setup not optimal solution, dcs should not sued way, let them basic job, ad/dns/gc , use member servers user data instead.

if high availability needed think clustering solution, maybe on different subnets, possible windows server 2008 ee/dc , higher os.
