SvcHost for NSI Network Store Interface High Memory Usage

windows server 2008 standard sp2

i'm working on issue svchost.exe uses lot of memory. on several weeks, grow gigabyte , continue grow. i've broken out services each run own process , have determined service nsi - network store interface.

i'm have reason believe in way related application software running on machine clueless determine api calls cause service leak memory. have dump file can provided quite large - approximately 300 megabytes.

edit: happening on server 2008 64 bit. not server 2003, not r2, not server 2008 32 bit. when terminate application, memory usage on svchost.exe plummets. application related in way.

edit 2: have been doing debugging of dump file.

0:000> !heap -s lfh key : 0x000000c5620647b0 termination on corruption : enabled heap flags reserv commit virt free list ucr virt lock fast (k) (k) (k) (k) length blocks cont. heap ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0000000000430000 00000002 324032 319108 324032 111 126 24 0 0 lfh 0000000000010000 00008000 64 8 64 5 1 1 0 0 0000000000110000 00001002 1088 172 1088 7 6 2 0 0 lfh 0000000000ce0000 00001002 64 32 64 27 1 1 0 0 00000000015b0000 00001002 512 8 512 3 1 1 0 0 00000000011c0000 00001002 64 16 64 11 1 1 0 0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

which shows heap 430000 growing. then:

doesn't show particular leak.
