Inheritable permissions in Windows 2008 driver me mad!


hello,

i've created folder on our windows 2008 file server called "users" , in root of d: drive partiton.  have shared the folder , added domain users , domain admins folder share permissions , security , removed tick box include inheritable permissions objects parent users folder users home directories , don't want domain users added these user folders own account obvious security reasons.

anyway the parent permissions added!! though have told not to, doing wrong?

hi,

after removed tick box include inheritable permissions objects parent in security-advanced-change permissions, should continue click "remove" remove inherited parent permissions objects,you find no user permission in permission entries , add wanted user account.
