capturing performance monitor counter issue
hi folks, basically, have been charged capturing sql server 2005 performance monitor counters on several servers. use typeperf & logman per http://www.mssqltips.com/tip.asp?tip=1722
among 5 several servers windows server 2003, standard edition - 5.2 (3790) , sql 2005 sp2, 3 of them able generates desired csv output files fine using same security credentials, 2 servers has same sw specs generates 2 columns of data reads per 5-min cycle:
"(pdh-csv 4.0) (central daylight time)(300)"
"07/14/2010 17:01:43.625"
"07/14/2010 17:06:43.637"
where should generate more columns contains actual counters specs. have verified make sure input counters there capture. below them.
\\srvra\memory\page reads/sec
\\srvra\memory\page writes/sec
\\srvra\memory\pages input/sec
\\srvra\memory\pages output/sec
\\srvra\memory\pages/sec
has seen before , wondering if missed something.
