HyperV Virtual Switch binding to Wireless WiFi network
greetings all,
i believe basic problem i cannot bind wifi nic virtual switch.
i have windows 8.1 pro. computer has wired nic , wireless nic (both intel). cpu gen 3 i7 , supports hyperv. had 3 vm's running. the vswitch setup external shared switch binding wifi and 3 vm's connect internet , local lan. everything working should.
i updated nic drivers, , problem started. wifi works local computer without issues.
the vswitch no longer valid. deleted it. cannot create new virtual switch binding wifi. can create virtual switch binding wired nic. installed external cisco usb wifi, , cannot used in binding.
the error occurs after following following steps ...
1. run hyperv manager admin
2. click virtual switch manager
3. create new external virtual switch
4. select wifi nic external network.
5. check yes allow management operating system share network adapter
6. click ok.
error @ point. error ....
title - error applying virtual switch properties changes
text - failed while adding ethernet switch connections
details - ethernet port '{guid}' bind failed. system cannot find file specified. (0x80070002)
what have tried, in various orders , multiple times ....
1. reinstall nic
2. delete drivers , install again
3. install original drivers
4. install new cisco usb nic - cannot bind vswitch well. same error.
5. remove hyperv , reinstall hyperv
6. nvspbind
7. nvspscrub.js - cannot run - error c:\nvspbind\nvspscrub.js(354, 5) microsoft jscript runtime error: unable
instance of msvm_virtualswitchmanagementservice: invalid class
i close reinstalling whole os. ideas appreciated.

the wifi external virtual switch come problems , cause of not of wireless nics , drivers support external vswitch .
my suggestion delete device , reinstall nic , recreate external vswitch.
