Need help with using Windows 7 as a Kiosk

good day everyone,

i'm trying away our old, outdated kiosk software in favor of using native features of windows 7(32x) professional accomplish this. have few pcs @ work used soley guests , need them locked down while still functional of needs. have decent start going have accomplished several items via group policy enforced on standard user profile that needed however, i'm finding few things rather difficult find answers to. here looking for:

currently have documents folder available guests , desktop , drives completely locked down, want. however, need these aspects:

 

01. guests should not able alter or delete documents folder (which can).

02 in group policy settings, must have turned on hides files within documents folder. know policy since can't seem find it? if create file in folder stay there until close folder , reopen it, becomes hidden.

03. need 2 places file can saved documents folder and/or guest thumb drive, including downloads ie.

04. need user profile revert default profile im working on after guest logs off, clearing settings may have changed within programs or otherwise permanently deleting files saved documents folder. fix issue 01 if there no way stop the deletion of folder.

 

i hope can find answers these issues since have been working on these while , need these pcs deployed possible.

please grant guests read permission.

 

02.  i need 2 places file can saved documents folder and/or guest thumb drive, including downloads ie.

 

i confirm users want achieve target. no sense modify administrator’s permission. please grant users read , write permission of documents folder and/or guest thumb drive achieve target.

 

i suppose use icacls.exe modify users' permission , logon scripts apply.

i’d confirm files miss or hidden. please choose show hidden files, folders, or drives option of folder option.

 

method1: via local machine, details:

 

computer -> organize -> folder , search option -> view

 

method2: via gpp, details:

 

user condiguration -> preference -> control panel setting -> folder option
