hell everyone..

need , guidance resolve below 2 certificate error comes in our environment.

  1.       revocation information security certificate site not available
  2.       name on security certificate invalid or not match name of site” means certificate assign webserver site have different names

please assist steps need take solve this.

for # 1, need provide lot more information. typically, due either:

- incorrect urls in aia/cdp extensions of either ca certificates or user/computer certificates.

- expired information published to the aia/cdp extensions of either ca certificates or user/computer certificates

if run certutil -verify -urlfetch badcertificate.cer and post output, can quesiton

for # 2, have incorrect subject information in certificate. when connect web server, type https://www.example.com. in case, web server certificate must have www.example.com either in subject name or subject alternative name. common mistakes are:

- user hates typing , types https://www , receives error. www <> www.example.com

- administrator wants troubleshoot , decides bypass dns , type https://10.10.10.1.

- certificate contains typo , has wwww.example.com in subject/san rather www.example.com

in of examples, subject of certificate not contain name typed in url

you have replace certificate on web server correct certificate fix problem.
