Word 2000 columns

from friend   experiencing attempt create 2 column page.  after creating heading single column,i start new line , enter format.  i choose 2 column box , indicate want continue "from point forward."  i type 2 lines , jumps other column , have go format , choose "from point forward"  again because has reverted "this section only."   , after completing column, goes new page instead of switching 2nd column typing.   have used many times before , first time have encountered this.

i don't know wrong, have continuous section break under 2-section column. think word has difficulty trying "balance column length" in situation.

if click show/hide button (the "pilcrow" button left of zoom dropdown in standard menu) section breaks should become visible , may easier see going on. consider putting next page section break @ bottom of two-column section, enter text in 2-column section, insert continuous break (if that's what's needed) when you're done.

hello i have situation following participants: mac osx server & windows 2003 dns server   problem: the mac osx server registering ip address in dns. i not want that. question: is there way control can register in windows dns? some sort of access list. know possible bind dns server regards k you have few options available in dns regarding dynamic updates.  can set zone's dynamic updates settings 1 of following: none, nonsecure , secure, , secure only. if set none, dynamic updates not allowed, nonsecure , secure allow clients update , secure only allow authenticated systems (members of domain example). if want control updates @ record level, can modify acl record once has been created.  zone can controlled via acl (properties, security tab). visit: anitkb.com , knowledge base.
