hi,

we have rd farm consisting of 3 rd session hosts (windows 2008 r2) , server running connection broker service. using dns round-robin connect farm e.g. server1, server2, server3 have additional record of farm1.

session broker seems load balancing fine several days, 1 or more client calling receiving following message when attempting connect farm1.domain.com: -

"the remote computer ******.*****.com trying connect redirecting remote computer ******.*****.com remote desktop connection cannot verify 2 remote computers belong same farm. can occur if there computer on network same name computer trying connect to."

this can totally random when happens. restarting client machine can in cases resolve issue, guess same running ipconfig /flushdns (as have seen on other posts i've read).

there several articles seem think relates credssp support, know have affect on vista business machines, of our clients either windows xp or windows 7 users.

i seem going around in circles how can troubleshoot problem. when happens not affect users can see other users balanced across 3 servers when viewing remote desktop services manager.

can please provide think may worth looking at, have hit dead end far.

hi,

please consider clean dns cache of involved user following command-line:ipconfig /flushdns.and check if issue resolved.
if persists,pls try re-check settings on 3 rdsh servers ,connection borker , dns server.(that is, rebuild dns entries,re-type farm name in rdsh , re-load certificate , on.)
issue has been talked several times.but no 1 can tell root cause. sometimes either fixed or re-checking above setting.

WMI Repository 4GB limit - Win 2003 Ent Question

Event ID 1302 (error 1307) DFS replication service encountered an error while writing to the debug log file

hello. we @ step 0 of migration frs dfsr sysvol replication on windows 2008r2 dc. every time run powershell dfsrmig / getmigrationstate says: "unable create dfsr migration log file. error 1307. all domain controllers have migrated global state 'start'. migration has reached consistent state on domain controllers. succeeded." it creates event id 1302 in "dfs replication" event log, explaining error 1307 means: "this security id may not assigned ownder of object ". i already checked space limits, quotas, permissions on c:\windows\debug according microsoft support article unable fix it. although, there new entries added dfsr00095.txt log file despite error. dfsrxxxx file has not been archived .gz format, and, beleive, contains dfsr diagnostics , events. here of latest entries: 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm  3354 migration::sysvolmigration::getsysvolreadyflag [mig] sysvol ready 20150908 08:47:27.867 11616 sysm   456 migrati
