TS RemoteApp - Cannot create RemoteApp with apostrophe in executable filename

i've found appears bug in ts remoteapp manager. i'm having terrible time figuring out submit bug reports windows server 2008, i'll start posting here welcome suggestions on else should post fixed. (i've looked "connect", looks can post feature requests there-- not bugs.)

to repro:

  • copy executable (in case notepad.exe) folder readable ts remoteapp manager.
  • rename copied executable include apostrophe in filename (in case notepad'.exe).
  • start ts remoteapp manager. select "action" , "add remoteapp program..."
  • click "next" on first page of wizard.
  • click "browse" , browse copy of executable made. click "next".
  • click "finish".

you receive error message follows:

title: remoteapp wizard
an error occurred while trying add programs remoteapp programs list.
please ensure have access terminal server. error code: 80070057

it looks 0x80070057 "e_invalidarg", per winerror.h, haven't attempted track down what, exactly, generating 0x80070057. i'm sure it's escaping, or lack thereof, of apostrophe character.

Dns access list
