Auto populate and Windows 7

i have couple of question. deploying windows 7 in windows server 2008r2 environment. our xp clients joined domain either sysprep or manually. computer names fat fingered , therefore join @ default computer ou. wondering process windows 7 uses join domain existing credentials ie if computer account exists. wondering if/what benefits of pre-populating computer accounts in ad prior adding new computers.

personally, don't prefer or used pre-populating computer objects in ad, leave computer object creation during domain join only.

the process listed below & applies windows 7, showing issues steps listed.

why don't use offline domain join feature windows 2008 r2.

you can use redircmp direct system particular ou.
