hi,

please understand each area of group policy functionality implemented microsoft management console snap-in dll registered default. example, administrative templates , scripts use gptext.dll. if these dlls un-registered or removed, underlying group policy editing functionality implement not appear in group policy object editor. resolve issue, maybe need re-register appropriate mmc snap-in dll implements missing functionality.

to reregister mmc snap-in dlls

  1. open command prompt.
  2. type following command: regsvr32 snap-indllname

by default, can find of mmc snap-in dlls related group policy in %systemroot%\system32.
