DNS Issues
i have couple of questions. had dc crashed. removed ad , seemed ok. have couple of issuse
1. have subnes seperated vlans have dc on each subnet. unable find server on other vlan using nslookup address. can resolve in nslookup using hostname. there best practice when setting up. should dc in seperate sites? see them in dns required records.
2. unix boxes unable resolve windows servers. think it's dns issue unix server thats not area.
one other thing. since using 2 subnets (such 192.168.1.0 , 192.168.2.0) should create sie link?
