Limiting assignable IP address of Hyper-V guest OS

hi,

i'm using hyper-v create virtual machines , allow others connect them using remote desktop, have administrative privileges on guest os.

what i'm asking how can limit guest os use single specific ip address?

from can understand, guest vms connected virtual switches (external), bound physical nic on server. physical network configured route block of ip addresses physical nic on server, , each single ip configured in guest os. so, guest os might add ip address block virtual ethernet adapter , disrupt other vms.

this issue internal / private switches well. have ranges of ip addresses designated different services in vms, , i'm basing acls , firewall rules on them. if guest os changes ip address inside vm, can disrupt virtual network connectivity.

this particularly important in multi tenant environment.

thanks in advance,

you can implementing dhcp on 1 of switches or server in charge of addressing, problem sounds kind of thing need address business process, rather technical solution.

in end, have give level of trust admins , ensure have training , process documentation in place avoid such situations.
