Generate certificate for RDS

hey guys,

i know how generate new certificate rdsh servers.

i have:

- 1 server includes wa,cb

- 2 servers rdsh

from which server should generate new certificate.

if not matter server generate cert, should iis domain certificate or self-signed certificate?

mcitp: dba 2008 admin, server admin, virtualization 2008 r2 admin cca: citrix certified admin mcts: configuring exchange 2007 mcsa: messagig 2003

as far know, can obtain certificate in 1 of following ways:

 

1.       you can generate , submit certificate request obtain certificate stand-alone or enterprise certification authority (ca).

 

2.       you can purchase certificate (or obtain 1 @ no cost on trial basis) 1 of trusted public cas participate in microsoft root certificate program members program [as listed in article 931125 in microsoft knowledge base (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=59547 )].

 

3.       you can use add roles wizard create self-signed certificate when install rd gateway role service, or can use remote desktop gateway manager after rd gateway installed.

Round Robin is killing performance on our network

Change home folder default permission?

i have searched on , can't seem find similar trying do. using windows server 2003 active directory. when create new user account on domain, use profile tab specify home directory user. when user logs in first time, active directory creates folder in specified path. working correctly. problem gives user full control on folder. has caused lot of problems because "clever" users have discovered thay can change permission on folder or subfolders beneath it. because don't want staff looking @ "sensitive" files. of course doesn't work since can take ownership of file , give myself permissions. causes trouble failed backups, inability scan these folders viruses, migration new storage etc. on occasion 1 of these users call me , ask file or folder restored, , @ point discover not have backup of files , cannot restore them. give them lecture, have on 2500 users, , can't talk them all. right have create account , login teh folder created, go take away full contr...
