i've got big problem these balloon warning not appearing on users pc's. password rules set in gpo, pushed out ddp. users getting prompts, it's stopped (without changing anything). have tried enforcing not disable balloons (double negative...), set warm 14 days in advance etc, nothing. i removed password rules together, didn't stop passwords expiring, read once set, these rules stay. i've had them expire in 360 days, users not kicked out time. i must missing something. i've checked policies applying onto pc's, enforced check server not caches credentials, forced give 14 days notice, forced balloon notifications , nothing. test account not locked, allowed change password , password not set expire. correct, still not notification! clients windows 7. no balloon appears. i've increased test users balloon notification time max , still don't see them. interestingly, whilst implementing test of email reminder script, test account got reminder, ...
