hi i use ms forefront 2010 proxy. config wpad.dat dhcp & dns. client windows xp work ie or firefox. however, client windows 7 didn't work @ at all. all client windows 7 result this. client unjoin network can http://proxy/wpad.dat . however,for client join network, can't http://proxy/wpad.dat . has  error message below network access message: page cannot displayed both of them can't access internet. until check use manual proxy. i nslookup on both windows 7 client, resolve right on wpad. point forefront tmg.   could suggest anything, thank help.   ok got solution. origin of problem come ie8 only. won't pull wpad.dat forefront . method solve clear setting of ie by   "i got non-working ie8 clients download wpad.dat again doing this: tools->internet options->advanced->reset closed ie , re-opened from http://serverfault.com/questions/54567/internet-explorer-isnt-auto-discovering-http-wpad-wpad-dat-auto-config ...

hi there,   about 6 hours ago 1 of servers, happens run hyper-v role 2 partitions (host , single virtualised instance), experienced 0x0002001 stop error. i did googling around , apparently 0x2001 hyper-v-related bugcheck. there isn't information available on msdn or technet code-specific documentation, , saw how in earlier thread having same problem me . the full event log is: the computer has rebooted bugcheck. bugcheck was: 0x00020001 (0x0000000000000011, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000001005, 0xfffff880002deb30). dump saved in: c:\windows\memory.dmp. i've saved memory.dmp file (it's 545mb in size) if anyone's interested in it. can confirm if hyper-v related, underlying cause was, , can prevent happening again? thanks   hi david which version of hyper-v running? all updates in place? what type of hardware platform? what bios revision? if post helpful, please mark such ________________________________________ alessandro card...

first off servers 2008r2 (latest updates installed) w/forest-domain 2008r2, cas (rca, sca) installed on dcs vms (hyperv 2008r2).  utilize scm 2.5 gpo settings on dcs (don't know if potential issues due security settings?). initially set w/out issue , ran fine.  poking around server yesterday , noticed have errors showing on enterprise pki.  sca has following unable download errors showing: aia location #2  http://wwwca/certenroll/servername.domain.local_servername-sca.crt deltacrl location #2  http://wwwca/certenroll/servername-sca.crl cdp location #2  http://wwwca/certenroll/servername-sca.crl rca has following unable download errors showing: aia location #1  http://wwwca/certenroll/servername-rca.crt cdp location #1  http://wwwca/certenroll/servername-rca.crl all other locations in sca register ok, no other locations set in rca.  when try access http locations via ie/ff, error 500 - internal server error.  chec...
