dell pe r310 four 2tb drives in raid 5.  6 tb total. when go disk management in w2k8 r2 sp1, see disk 0 consists of 100 mb (system reserved) 488.28 gb (c: , healthy) 1559.62 gb (unallocated) 3539.50 gb (unallocated) when right-click on 1559.62, option new simple volume.  when right-click on 3539.50, option properties.  know why? and also, why aren't 1559 , 3539 combined 1 allocated space in first place???? my plan have 2 combined can make 1 big partition assuming had bios not set uefi, drive propably partitioned mbr. windows server 2008. server plagued user account stuck @ "please wait system event notification service" during rdp logout , have not quick access hard reboot machine , haven't found way restart these user profiles.
